This Spring a new classic joins the PopUp Painting calendar! Lots of you have asked for a go at this fantastic piece over the years, and we’ve finally figured out a way to make an event out of it. Please give a round of applause as we welcome Mr Bean’s Whistler’s Mother painting (The Movie version) to our calendar!

Originally by artist James McNeill Whistler in 1871, this realist oil painting gained a lot of love following the release of the 1997 Bean movie.

What Is Sip and Paint Events? A Very Good Question!

PopUp Painting is a social painting and entertainment company, we host Sip & Paint events at various venues across the UK. As of April 2023, we would have been running our events for 10 years and as of 2024 we would have painted with over 80,ooo people!

We provide all the materials needed for guests to create their own unique paintings, including canvases, paints, brushes, and aprons. The painting events are led by professional artists who guide participants step-by-step through the process of creating their own works of art.

PopUp Painting events are designed to be fun and accessible to everyone, regardless of their level of artistic ability, and are often themed and accompanied by music and drinks, making them a popular choice for date nights, hen parties, corporate team-building events, and other social gatherings. PopUp Painting can also create custom events for private parties and other occasions upon request!
