Earlier this week the Government announced its new Tiering System: Medium (Tier 1), High (Tier 2), Very High (Tier 3). We have taken the time to review the Government’s guidance and cross-referenced with interpretations from our partners and other businesses, and understand that events can continue to operate in Tiers 1, and in Tier 2 with further restrictions.
Tier 2 prohibits “socialising with anybody outside of your household or support bubble in any indoor setting” but also states that “businesses and venues can continue to operate in a COVID-Secure manner”.
In Tier 2 guests who are within the same household or support bubble (as confirmed when they book) may be sat together. However guests who are not in the same household or support bubble will need to be spaced out on separate tables.
Mingling between households and support bubbles will not be possible.
