FAQs

Sip and paint are painting events that usually happen in the evening, where people of any art ability can partake. At PopUp Paainting, we provide all the materials needed for guests to create their own unique paintings, including canvases, paints, brushes, and aprons. The painting events are led by professional artists who guide participants step-by-step through the process of creating their own works of art.

No experience at all is needed to unleash your creativity with PopUp Painting. We have painted with over eighty thousand guests since 2013, and the vast majority haven’t been artists. Head to our Instagram or reviews to see for yourself.

We provide everything you’ll need to create your own masterpiece. That includes paint, brushes, canvases, aprons, palette, and guidance. All you need bring is your imagination. Our events take place in bars and restaurants, so you can always get a glass of wine to help lubricate your creative process.

As a pop-up we aren’t able to bring bags with us for everybody to our events. If you want to cover your painting you may want to bring a large bag (to fit a 16×20″ canvas).

However, we don’t think you’ll need one! We use fast drying acrylic paint – so it should be dry like a hard plastic within 10-15 minutes of you stopping painting – perfect for carrying!

The best way to book a sip and paint event is through our events calendar. We cannot usually accept payment at the door. If you’re having trouble viewing our calendar we have a backup on Eventbrite.

All you need to bring with you is your imagination. We’ll have you on our guest-list, so no need to print out any order confirmation emails. You should aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time. If you’re coming with a large group and you have booked separately, please send us an email to info@popuppainting.com to let us know – we will try to seat you together.

Firstly, take a look at our Private Parties or Corporate Event page to find out a little bit more. We are also able to run Online Parties. Then write to us at info@popuppainting.com – we’ll need to know when you would like your event, any restrictions on where, and the number of guests you would like to book for.
