London
All month -Breathe: 2022, Various Locations in Lewisham
As Lewisham is the cultural borough of year, there are tons events to visit over the duration of 2022. One to not miss is Breathe: 2022. This will be a striking multi-part new public artwork that will appear across Lewisham on sites close to the South Circular Road. This work will relate to the death of Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah, a nine-year-old girl who tragically died in 2013 after an asthma attack caused in part by air pollution. The artwork will prove to be beautiful and moving. Find out more here.
Saturday 16th April – Vaisakhi Festival, Trafalgar Square
London’s festival of Sikh and Punjabi tradition, heritage and culture. There will be free light bites and Indian tea, demonstrations of martial arts, entertainment and a display of Sikh art. Free entry, more information here.
Sunday 17th April – Painting and Cream Tea, London Art Bar, Holborn
Celebrate this Easter with something a little different – spend the afternoon painting away and then washing down the experience with a cream tea – ahh, bliss! Tickets £39.99 from here.
Saturday 30th April – SoLo Craft Fair Dulwich Spring Market, St. Barnabas Parish Hall, Dulwich
SoLo Craft Fair are back in Dulwich for the first time in two years! come and visit their market with over 60 stalls selling everything from art to fashion to homeware. Also enjoy a beverage from A Little Cup Tea popup tearoom! Free entry, find out more here.

Be’Live is aiming to be the biggest mental health event that the UK has ever seen. The event will have talks from mental health professionals and inspiring stories to empower anyone that may be suffering. You can watch the event online or visit in person, more information here.
Friday 22nd April – Over 30’s Dancing thru the Decades Dance Party, The,Pavilion Suite, B6 7AA
A party for over 30’s which includes the biggest hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. The DJ will be playing a range of Motown, Soul, RnB and Reggae. Tickets £7, more information from here.

Until 17th April – Precious Seronga: Wellington Place Artist’s Window Installation, Wellington Place, LS1 4AP
Designed to support the creative talent of Leeds, the Artist’s Window is one of MEPC’s community initiatives, providing local artists with the opportunity to exhibit and showcase their work to the public. The winner, Precious Seronga’s Window Installation celebrates African Culture and incorporates face masks worn throughout the pandemic. More information here.
Friday 22nd April – The Budapest Cafe Orchestra, St. Margaret’s Church, Walmgate YO1 9TL
The Budapest Cafe Orchestra play traditional folk and gypsy-flavoured music from across the Balkans and Russia, Klezmer laments, Romanian Doinas, Hungarian Czardas and their own unique re-imaginings of some of the biggest pieces ever written by the greats.
