PopUp Painting will be launching in Liverpool in April 2018. Its first partner venues in the city are The Shipping Forecast and The Club House. The company invites guests to “unleash their creativity, wine glass in one hand, paintbrush in the other”.
Now in its fifth year, PopUp Painting runs ‘painting and wine’ events in bars, restaurants and workplaces across London, Manchester and Birmingham. Its guests are led by artists, who guide guests step by step through iconic pieces, while they “drink, paint, [and] create”.
The company will be holding its first event in Liverpool at The Club House (18 April).
Commenting on the upcoming launch, Makreting Director and CoFounder Gareth Shelton said: “We are really excited about our expansion into Liverpool. Throughout the country we have seen that people are hungry to do something new on a night out — and Popup Painting really speaks to that.
“Most of our guests haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school — if ever — and it’s been really rewarding to see people leave an event saying ‘wow. I didn’t know I could do that’. We’re really looking forward to seeing how the people of Liverpool enjoy our events”.
